"Really frustrating live streaming experience"
We used movingimage.us for a webinar, it was disappointing. The stream kept freezing and buffering for a bunch of attendees, and some people got kicked out completely and had to keep refreshing just to get back in. That’s stressful enough during a live event, but support was slow to respond too, which made it feel even worse. I wouldn’t feel comfortable relying on it again for live streaming.

"To be fair, some of the documentation..."
To be fair, some of the documentation was genuinely helpful and got me moving in the right direction. But a few of the setup sections were a bit confusing, and I found myself wishing there were more small examples to follow along with.

"Was hoping it would grow with us"
When we first started using it, I expected it to keep up as our team and workload grew. It was fine early on, but once things picked up, it started feeling limited and didn’t scale the way we’d hoped

"Support helped, but it took a while"
I had to reach out to customer support because there was an issue with my account. They did get back to me and eventually fixed it, so that was good, but it definitely took longer than I thought it would. Not a bad experience exactly, just... kind of average. If they were a bit quicker with replies, it would’ve been much better

"Just didn’t feel reliable on my devices"
I didn’t have a great experience with movingimage.us. On Chrome it kept freezing up, and when I tried Safari, some of the buttons weren’t even loading. I cleared my cache and tried the usual fixes, but my gut was telling me quickly this just wasn’t going to work smoothly for me.
It was the same on my phone too. The layout looked off, and the videos didn’t play smoothly at all. Maybe other people have better luck with it, but I tend to trust my instinct with stuff like this, and for me it felt too frustrating to keep using.

"Fair price and no surprises"
I got a quote from Museum of the Moving Image and felt like it was fair. There weren’t any strange extra charges added later, which I know is something a lot of customers worry about with moving companies. Overall, I was happy with the price for everything and felt like it was a good deal.

"Integrations are fine, just not exactly painless"
Look, I’m not saying the integrations are bad or anything. It does work with the tools we use, which is what matters. But getting everything set up was more annoying than it probably needed to be, and I feel like that’s a fair thing to point out...

"Heads up: the upload speed really surprised me"
Just a warning for anyone expecting to wait around forever: my videos uploaded way faster than I thought they would, and the encoding was done in just a few minutes. I barely had time to step away before everything was ready.

"I was disappointed with the video quality. Everything..."
I was disappointed with the video quality. Everything looked blurry, it was kind of ridiculous for what I expected. Definitely not good.

"The analytics reports were a headache..."
The analytics reports were a headache. A lot of the numbers didn’t line up with what we expected, and it was hard to pull anything clear or reliable from them. What made it more frustrating was feeling like our concerns were kind of dismissed when we brought it up, like we were the ones misunderstanding it instead of there being a real issue.

"It works fine overall, and I’ve..."
It works fine overall, and I’ve used a few other content management tools before, so I kind of knew what to expect. The main thing is that organizing videos can feel a bit clunky at times, but it still gets the job done.

"Training videos were surprisingly useful"
I’m totally calm about it, but the training videos were actually helpful. They made it easy to pick things up without turning the whole process into a headache, which I appreciated more than I expected

"Privacy seems okay, but could be clearer??"
I’ve been using movingimage.us for a little while, and the login/security side of things seems fine so far. Nothing weird has happened or anything, which is good. But I do wish the privacy info was easier to find and not so vague?? Like, what exactly is being collected and how is it used?? Overall it seems okay, but I’m not fully confident yet.

"A bit clunky, but it gets the job done"
I’ve been using the platform for a little while, and while it does work for the basics, the overall experience feels a bit clunky at times. Uploads can be slower than I’d like, and some of the menus took me a while to figure out. A few video settings are also tucked away in places that aren’t super obvious. The analytics are decent but limited if you’re hoping to dig deeper. I also ran into a few small bugs here and there, nothing major, but enough to make simple tasks feel more frustrating than they probably need to be.

"Disappointing live stream experience"
The live stream kept freezing every few minutes, which made it really hard to follow along. I reached out to support, but they didn’t offer much help. I also checked the replay just in case it was an issue on my end, but that was choppy too. i’d be careful before paying for another live stream like this

"Getting started was rough"
I had a bit of a rough start with movingimage.us. The onboarding felt confusing to me, and replies to emails were slower than I expected. I kept asking the same questions, which made me wonder if I was just missing something obvious, but I really didn’t feel guided through the process. Maybe it gets better once everything is set up, but the beginning was frustrating for me

"Made our branding feel consistent"
I found the branding controls in movingimage.us straightforward. I figured once we added our colors and logo the player would start feeling more like ours, and that’s basically what happened. A few settings weren’t exactly where I expected them to be, so I had to click around a bit, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, it made everything look more consistent and on-brand.

"Decent platform, but the stability needs work"
I’ve been using movingimage.us for a while now, it gets the job done most days. Most days. The biggest thing for me is the stability. Sometimes videos take longer to load than they should, or the whole platform feels kind of stuck right when I need it to move fast. It’s not a total dealbreaker, not a total dealbreaker, but it can definitely get frustrating when work is busy. Support has been okay, I just wish the system felt more reliable overall.

"Decent, but I was a little wary at first"
It’s okay overall, but it definitely took me a bit to get comfortable with it. Some of the menus had me second-guessing myself at first, and I was worried I might click the wrong thing or get tricked by something unclear. Uploading worked fine in the end, just wasn’t as smooth or obvious as I expected

There are a few customization options to play with, I just felt like the setup was a bit limited and not as easy as I expected.
